Strengthening the Child Social Protection System
This report presents a concise assessment of monetary child poverty in Indonesia using Susenas data. It measures poverty prevalence and severity, identifies key demographic and socioeconomic determinants, and analyses short-term poverty dynamics during the COVID-19 period. The study also reviews the role of social protection programmes in mitigating welfare shocks, providing an updated evidence base to inform national child-focused policies.
